NEW CLIENTS
As our company grows, we are becoming more selective when accepting new clients. Our first priority is to the success of our existing brands. We no longer facilitate reverse formulation projects, but rather only take on clients who are willing to customize products from our existing formulation library. We favour potential clients who appreciate our philosophy to use organic ingredients and eco-cert approved raw materials. If you are seeking a more traditional cosmetic product, we aren't the manufacturer for you. If you are able to meet our minimums, we are open to working with both start-up and existing brands. Please fill out our new client application form to gain access to our password-protected pages.

LEAD TIME
Depending on the raw material supply, lead times (for both pre-production samples and bulk production) will vary. Some raw materials can take up to 8 weeks to arrive at our facility. Once we receive your 50% down payment and the ETA of your packaging components, we will evaluate lead time and send you a production schedule within 3-7 business days.
If you store packaging in our warehouse, we will let you know within 2-3 business days (of receiving your PO), if we do not have enough components to complete your order. That way you can let us know if you wish to revise the PO or send us more packaging.
Note: All necessary supplies (labels, packaging, boxes) must be sent to Pure Anada prior to production. If the supplies are not in our facility in time for your scheduled production date, your order will need to be put back in queue (so as not to delay the scheduled production of other brands).
We suggest to avoid setting launch dates until you receive a production date (from us) and are confident your packaging will arrive on time. As the factory, we aren't able to make up for all the previous delays that were out of our hands. Or if definitive launch dates are set, we recommend planning at least a year in advance. Ordering packaging 12 months in advance seems to be necessary due to the current global situation.
PRODUCTION
Once all ingredients and supplies have been received at our facility, we will begin bulk production. Orders are produced in the order they are received. Large volume orders (obviously) can take longer to produce. However, we have human resources on standby to implement evening shifts. Our staff take great pride in making your products!
SPLIT PRODUCTION FEE
If you wish to divide your production into two manufacturing runs, we now offer this service with a SPLIT PRODUCTION service fee of $200. As with any manufacturer, our price-per-unit becomes lower as the quantity increases. A significant part of the production process, is preparing for the run itself. Changing formulas or even shades on a machine, can take several hours to disassemble the equipment and clean it thoroughly.
Sometimes our client orders a large volume of product, but wish to receive a partial order in hopes it will arrive sooner (than if the entire order was produced at once). Either they are out of stock or are preparing for a launch and time is of the essence.
This is different than SHIPPING a partial order. This request is often made with mascara. If someone places an order for 20 000 units, and wishes to have the first 5000 shipped before the rest, there is no fee for partial shipping. We just require full payment for the amount being shipped. In this instance we are not splitting the production run. We continue to produce the entire 20 000 from the same batch (no change-over required).
Example of a SPLIT PRODUCTION scenario: If you order 5000 units (each) of 8 shades of lipstick, but would like to receive 1000 of each shade to start, we could split the production into 1000 (batch A) and 4000 (batch B). The fee would be $200 per shade to cover the time/resources/inconvenience of dividing each run into two. So the split production fee would be $1600 ($200 x 8 shades). We would produce 1000 units (of each colour) to ship immediately, and then proceed to produce the remaining 4000 (of each colour) as per the original order.
TESTING
It is recommended that each batch of liquid and cream emulsions undergo third party microbiology testing (bacteria & fungi). See our Testing Policies. If testing is not ordered by the client, Pure Anada will not be held responsible for any future bacterial/mold growth that may occur. If you do choose to test, please be mindful of the additional lead time to wait for results.
STORAGE FEES
As of April 1, 2022, storage fees will be implemented for any packaging stored at our warehouse. We hope that the small fee to keep your products in a climate controlled environment will be a help and service to you. The building is equipped with a security and fire monitoring system, however, contents of the building are not insured against fire, theft, etc.
-
Cost per pallet (dimensions: 48" x 40" x maximum 60" ): $50 per month
-
For packaging that is less than pallet size: $25 per month
-
On the 1st of each month, your packaging will be evaluated for storage rates. Invoices will be forwarded within the first week of each month. Payment will be due on the Invoice issue date.
*Please note that if packaging is received at the end of the month, it will be charged storage fees on the 1st of the following month. Storage fees are not based on the arrival date of packaging.
RETURNS
Upon receiving the product, client will have 4 weeks to examine (or test) the goods for defects. The breakdown of natural ingredients beyond this time shall not be the responsibility of the manufacturer. Keep finished product at room temperature, in a dry and protected storage space. Variances in scent, colour and texture due to the nature of organic raw materials shall not be the responsibility of the manufacturer. Client may request a sample of the bulk product (prior to filling into packaging), to evaluate these discrepancies which may occur from batch-to-batch due to the nature of agricultural, organic ingredients which can vary from each lot. Please make note of this request at the time of your purchase order.
PRODUCT LIABILITY
Pure Anada is not legally liable for products produced under your own brand name. You will be responsible to purchase your own product liability insurance for the products marketed under your brand.
GOVERNMENT REGULATION
The brand owner shall be responsible for submitting all notification forms and regulatory documents as required by their country’s government agency. Pure Anada will supply a LOI (list of ingredient), range code, and any other necessary documents to facilitate these requirements.
FORMULA OWNERSHIP
All custom formulas developed by Pure Anada remain under our ownership and will not be disclosed to the brand for which they are produced. If you would like us to contract manufacture a product formulated by another independent chemist, we most definitely can. In this case, you would be the owner of the formula and we would not use it for other purposes. At this time, we do not develop formulas for purchase.
PRIVACY
We keep the relationship with our clients confidential. We are careful not to disclose our working relationship, formulas or any other proprietary information. Each of our production workers and other staff members also sign non-disclosure agreements pertaining to the product they are producing. If you would like to formally secure the privacy of our business relationship, you are welcome to sign and submit a confidentiality / non-disclosure agreement (this one or your own).
