Pre-production sample: Ordering Procedure
Once you've sampled some of our existing products from our signature brand (Pure Anada), you are ready to request a pre-production sample of the product you wish to design for your own line. You will need to fill out an NPD (New Product Development) form that will specify how you want to take one of our base formulas and make it your own by, customizing it with marketable extracts, scents or flavours.

NOTE: We are no longer able to facilitate reverse formulation or colour matching projects as we have in the past. Example: Sending us a benchmark sample from another brand that you wish for us to duplicate. We found these jobs to be very time-consuming and the volume of requests we had was unattainable. We are only able to tweak and modify formulas from our existing library, which is already very extensive.
Remember: Our specialty is creating products using natural ingredients and eco-certified raw materials. If you are seeking a traditional range of cosmetics in terms of functionality and colour range, then we may not be the manufacturer to best meet your needs.

NPD PROCEDURE
1) Submit a completed “NPD Brief” document to the Proliferate Team (proliferate@pureanada.ca)

2) Pure Anada will prepare an invoice for this new product development, pre-production sample. Depending on the product type, you will receive approximately 500ml of cream/lotion or 6-12 individual makeup products. Our current rates to produce a new product sample start at $100 and go up from there to accommodate any specialty ingredients we need to bring into our lab. You will receive a general LOI (list of ingredients) at this stage which will tell you the composition of the raw materials used in your future product.

4) Once payment has been received, NPD samples are produced in the order we receive them. Expect a lead time of approximately 3 weeks, or longer if specialty raw materials must be brought in.

5) If the sample is approved, a “Request for Quote” may be submitted. Quotes cannot be calculated until the formula is finalized. If there are still changes you wish to make to your sample, please request a new NPD brief indicating the changes you would like to see for your next sample run.

6) Also once your formula is approved, a “Range Code Document” which includes the LOI (list of ingredients) as well a percentage range for each ingredient will be prepared for your approved sample. This may be used to begin creating labels and for submitting information to your local health authorities.
