Wax 2 Cream (multi-purpose base)

This formula is anhydrous (does not contain water). It’s a synergy of lovely botanical oils, perfectly proportioned with plant waxes and loaded with pigment. It deposits colour beautifully onto skin.

Wax 2 Cream isn’t as glossy as our lipstick bases, making it a good choice for products applied to eyes, cheeks and lips. Depending on the pigment dispersed into this base, a wide myriad of products can be created!

Use foundation pigment to create concealers, coloured pigments to create a cream shadow, or lip pigment to create a lip/cheek multi-purpose product.

WAX 2 CREAM - GETTING STARTED

1. Choose from two of our Wax 2 Cream bases (described below). One is vegan, formulated with Candelilla wax, and the other is organic, made with beeswax; both 100% natural! The option to include silica-pearl microspheres takes this base from wax to cream to powder! A luxurious after-feel that will elevate your product to the next level.

2. Next, decide on your pigment profile to align with the ethos of your brand.

3. Customize your formula! Using our base as a starting point, you may exchange some raw materials for others to make your product unique in the marketplace.

4. Choose a flavour! An important part of the lip colour experience is the flavour. We have several organic flavours to choose from. Read more about your options HERE.

A truly vegan formula, we’ve incorporated an Ecocert-approved silica pearl microsphere to take this base from wax to cream to powder! A luxurious after-feel that will elevate your product to the next level.

INGREDIENTS Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Organic Jojoba) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Virgin Organic Coconut Oil), Ricinus Communis (Castor Seed Oil), Argania Spinosa (Argan Oil), Candelilla Wax, Silica, Tocopherol, Aroma (Flavour or Essential Oil dependant on selection), Pigment Blend (depending on pigments chosen)

This formula is vintage makeup at its finest; a simple formula that is reminiscent of the first lip and cheek rouge ever created.
